Character: Michael Cutter
Fandom: Law & Order
Michael Cutter is the newest Executive Assistant District Attorney for the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. Before this, he worked as an ADA on Long Island. He was promoted to the position of EADA after his predecessor, Jack McCoy, was promoted to Interim District Attorney.
Cutter is passionate about his job and willing to take risks. He likes to shake things up and challenge conventional perceptions of the law. While the law is not always cut and dry, and he takes advantage of that, he tends to be no-nonsense in nature. He is the kind of guy whose apartment is done in varying shades of practical solids, with chrome appliances (we call this the "Ikea look"), yet he shops at the Green Market and tries to buy locally when he can.
He is also practically glued to his BlackBerry Curve. This love of technology is just one thing that sets him apart from his mostly-older bosses.
He loves baseball (particularly the Yankees) and will often carry his lucky bat around while he discusses or contemplates cases.
